What happens when even the gods must answer to truth?
In a village shadowed by drought and whispers, young Aurelia makes a choice that defies tradition. She refuses to shelter two deceitful travelers – unaware that they are gods in disguise. What follows is a storm of illness, rumors, and divine reckoning that tests not only her body but also the soul of her community.
With the wisdom of healer Octavia, the watchful justice of Jupiter, and the painful deceit of Fortuna, The Game of the Gods unfolds as a timeless parable of kindness with courage, justice with truth, and compassion with boundaries.
Perfect for readers of all ages, students, parents, and educators, this story is more than a tale of mythology. It is a call to reflect on what it means to stand firm in values, to seek truth amid lies, and to build stronger communities together.

A Call to Action
Inspired by the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

At its heart, The Game of the Gods transforms ancient myth into a modern parable that resonates with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). After all, global goals – health, equality, education, justice, and sustainability – begin in the choices individuals make each day.
I was honored to present on this topic at the 2025 United Nations High-Level Political Forum, where I urged world leaders and youth delegates to rethink innovation not as the pursuit of the newest technology, but as the pursuit of what is most needed – people-centered, locally grounded, and culturally rooted solutions that advance quality education for all.
As opposed to relying on the latest technologies, we can reimagine access to learning through initiatives like “Radio School” – a low-cost, community-driven model that brings education to children beyond the reach of traditional classrooms or the internet. True innovation isn’t always digital or expensive – sometimes it’s about using simple tools, like radios powered by batteries, to deliver engaging, locally tailored lessons in native languages.
Sustainable progress begins with listening – understanding communities’ real needs so that education empowers, not just equips.
